Employees may also own fleet vehicles privately in various jurisdictions and nations. These automobiles, referred to as the “grey fleet,” are employed for business purposes. A fleet manager or transport manager can use fleet management software to handle fleet vehicles. Using a Fleet Management System, or FMS, vehicles can be linked to a fleet telematics system.
